Tony Larks has spent 25+ years building marketing functions that didn’t exist before he arrived. At WorldPay, ThreatMetrix, and most recently at Tanium, he joined when the company was finding its feet and left when it approached $150M ARR, having spent a decade building a team, owning the budget, and delivering marketing-sourced revenue through constant innovation and compelling experiences. Before that, his career spanned user communities, software distribution, channel networks, and agency work, including stints at Trend Micro, Peapod and The Research Group. He currently works with early-stage cybersecurity and AI startups and scaleups through his fractional CMO practice, m7g, helping founders determine what their first real marketing function should actually look like. When not engrossed in marketing, Tony is an active volunteer as the Regional Coordinator and Community First Responder for South Central Central Ambulance Service, attending time-critical emergency calls.
